Sermorelin Canada

Labs that buy sermorelin in Canada in multi-vial quantities are ordering a 29-residue peptide whose identity hinges on a single terminal group — a detail that is easy to overlook on a report and costly to miss across a whole lot. What follows explains what should be in each vial, which few numbers to confirm before a shipment is signed into inventory, and how Bulk Peptides supplies sermorelin in bulk across the country.

The molecule in brief

Sermorelin corresponds to residues 1–29 of human growth-hormone-releasing hormone, with the chain finished as a C-terminal amide instead of a free carboxylic acid. Because it is the reference analog of its class, published studies more often use it as a comparator than as the main subject. Our article on sermorelin as the GHRH(1-29) reference compound walks through the sequence, the cleavage point that drives its degradation, and why the amide is essential.

Check one: amide or acid?

Swap the amide for a free acid and the mass moves by about one dalton. On a molecule this size that sounds trivial, yet a mass spectrum shows it plainly — provided two conditions hold. The report must give a measured mass at enough resolution to separate the forms, and the calculated value it is compared with must be the amide’s, not the acid’s.

This is where a lab most often ends up with material that is not sermorelin while the paperwork appears in order. The acid form is a distinct compound, cheaper to produce, and close to indistinguishable on a coarse spectrum. Request both masses, measured and calculated, next to each other, and confirm which form the calculated figure assumes.

Check two: predictable mass shifts

Three frequent modifications move the mass by a known increment, so each one shows up as an extra peak at a recognisable offset from the parent:

  • Oxidation — a methionine gaining oxygen adds 16 Da. It is the clearest sign that a vial was stored poorly or left exposed to air.
  • Deamidation — deamidating an asparagine or glutamine side chain adds 0.98 Da. Sermorelin has both residues, so this is a genuine degradation pathway, not a hypothetical one.
  • Truncation — a residue missing from the chain subtracts exactly that residue’s mass. Such deletion and truncation products are the typical by-products of solid-phase synthesis and make up most of what a purity number counts. For how each looks on a trace, see our guide to deletion, truncation and oxidation impurities.

Check three: the conditions behind the purity number

HPLC purity is the main peak’s share of the total area the detector registered. Before you accept the percentage, find the wavelength. At 214 or 220 nm the detector reads the peptide bond, so all peptidic contaminants are visible. At 280 nm it reads only aromatic residues. Sermorelin carries tyrosine, so it still registers at 280 nm — but contaminants without tyrosine mostly disappear, and any peptide analysed at that wavelength will look cleaner than it is.

For a walk through the full report, read what third-party peptide testing measures; for why one vial can yield two different results at two labs with neither in error, see how certificates come to disagree.

Comparing cost per mg across a bulk order

The label weight covers everything in the vial: the peptide, its counter-ion and whatever water the solid retained. A 29-residue sequence with several basic sites carries a meaningful counter-ion load, so the same peptide weighs differently as an acetate than as a TFA salt — see how TFA and acetate salts compare. Residual water, typically a few percent, should be determined by Karl Fischer titration, not estimated.

Net peptide content, found by amino acid analysis or nitrogen determination, corrects for both, though most reports omit it. That is why a vial may be 98% pure yet only 78% peptide with no contradiction; our net peptide content explainer shows the arithmetic. When procurement compares suppliers on price per milligram, this is the figure that makes the comparison fair.

Buy sermorelin in Canada: volume pricing and delivery

Quantity breaks apply across the whole cart and can be mixed freely between products: 2–3 vials earn 5% off, 4–6 earn 15%, 7–9 earn 25%, and 10 or more earn 35%. For requirements larger than a few cases, ask for a custom quote through the bulk pricing page. We accept e-Transfer, USDT and selected crypto.

We ship only to Canadian addresses, so parcels stay inside the country and never face customs, duty or brokerage. Choose Canada Post, FedEx, Purolator or UPS at checkout, in regular or express service. Orders leave within one business day, arrive in two to five days in most cases depending on destination, and ship free above $200 CAD.

Products are third-party tested by HPLC and purity analysis, and certificates for some products appear on our COA page as the lab issued them, not reduced to a percentage. Reports do not travel with the parcel; each vial is tied to its report by the cap and crimp colour shown in the report’s photographs. Before logging a delivery, work through our receiving checklist for research peptide shipments.

Keeping a lot stable once it arrives

Freeze-dried sermorelin absorbs moisture, and moisture, oxygen and heat all speed up the deamidation and oxidation routes listed earlier. Let a vial come up to room temperature before you open it so no condensation settles on the cold solid, reseal it quickly and store it out of the light. The mechanisms are set out in how light, oxygen and temperature affect peptides, and weighing hygroscopic peptide explains why the balance keeps rising as you read it.

For vials that will be opened more than once, see aliquoting to reduce vial entries; for solvent selection, see picking a solvent for research peptides.

Where a certificate stops

An identity and purity report makes no statement about sterility, endotoxin or suitability for use in humans or animals. Those questions need their own assays, which sit outside routine peptide characterisation. For more, read the limits of research-grade material.

Sermorelin vials and related GHRH-class compounds

  • Sermorelin 5 mg — the better pick while a method is still being worked out and a vial will be opened many times; fewer entries per vial means less moisture picked up overall.
  • Sermorelin 10 mg — lower cost per milligram once the quantity you work with is fixed.

If your work compares compounds in the same class, we also carry tesamorelin, CJC-1295 without DAC and ipamorelin, all of which count toward the same volume tiers. For background, read tesamorelin and GHRH analog stabilisation, what separates CJC-1295 DAC from no-DAC, and, more generally, analog modifications that extend peptide half-life.
