Description
The name causes confusion, so it is worth being precise: this vial contains CJC-1295 without the drug affinity complex, also called Modified GRF(1-29). It is not the long-acting DAC conjugate.
Mod GRF 1-29: four substitutions, one purpose
The molecule starts from GRF(1-29) amide, the shortest fully active fragment of growth-hormone-releasing hormone, and swaps four residues: D-alanine at position 2, glutamine at 8, alanine at 15 and leucine at 27. The first substitution blocks cleavage by dipeptidyl peptidase-4, and the others reduce rearrangement and oxidation, giving a sequence that survives longer in assay media than native GRF(1-29).
In research it is used to study the GHRH receptor, typically through cAMP accumulation in receptor-expressing cells or in pituitary cell preparations. It is often run beside a ghrelin-receptor agonist such as ipamorelin, since the two act on different receptors; we also stock that pairing as a 10 mg blend.

Questions about CJC-1295 Peptide (No DAC) 5mg
What does ‘No DAC’ mean?
DAC stands for drug affinity complex, a lysine-linked reactive group added to some versions. This product has no DAC and is the Mod GRF(1-29) peptide.
How does this differ from sermorelin?
Sermorelin is native GRF(1-29) amide. CJC-1295 without DAC carries four substitutions that make it more resistant to enzymatic breakdown.
What molecular mass should I expect?
3367.9 g/mol for the C152H252N44O42 peptide, as listed in the identity table below.
