Description
The two incretin receptors, GLP-1R and GIPR, are closely related class B GPCRs. A single peptide that activates both is a tool for asking how the two pathways combine.
GLP-2 10 mg, a dual-receptor agonist
Dual agonists differ in which native sequence they start from, and they rarely activate both receptors equally. Characterising that balance is the first job in most studies: run concentration-response curves in cells expressing each receptor separately and compare the potencies side by side.
Because the two receptors can signal differently even when both raise cAMP, dual agonists are also used in studies of receptor bias, internalisation and desensitisation. The 10 mg fill covers method development and a first comparison across both receptor lines.

Questions about GLP-2 Peptide 10mg
Which receptors does this peptide activate?
The GLP-1 receptor and the GIP receptor, both class B GPCRs.
Does a dual agonist activate both receptors equally?
Usually not. Measuring the potency at each receptor separately is part of characterising it.
What larger fills are available?
15 mg and 20 mg.
Certificates for our compounds are posted on the certificates of analysis page and matched to vials by cap and crimp colour. If the one for this product is not up yet, contact the order desk.
