Description
Selank starts from tuftsin, a four-residue peptide cleaved from immunoglobulin G, and extends it with the same Pro-Gly-Pro tripeptide that appears in Semax.
Selank 10 mg, tuftsin with a stabilising tail
The full sequence TKPRPGP has a mass of 751.9 g/mol and two basic residues, lysine and arginine, that make it strongly cationic at neutral pH. Three prolines in seven positions give it a rigid backbone and good resistance to many peptidases. It lacks methionine and tryptophan, so it is less prone to oxidation than Semax.
Research has mostly been carried out in rodent behavioural models and in studies of gene expression in cultured cells. The 10 mg format is the one to choose for longer series; the 5 mg vial suits a first look.

Questions about Selank 10mg
What is tuftsin?
A tetrapeptide, Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg, released from the Fc region of immunoglobulin G. Selank adds Pro-Gly-Pro to it.
Is Selank prone to oxidation?
Less than many peptides, because it contains no methionine, cysteine or tryptophan.
Is a smaller vial available?
Yes, 5 mg.
